We think you're amazing for caring about our planet. We care too, so we have never individually boxed our products, we avoid plastic wrapping and promo material (we send awesome recipe cards instead), and our containers are recyclable and contain 20% recycled material.
CRUELTY FREE
Our skincare and supplements are 100% vegan and not tested on animals. Instead, we test them on our children, 80-year-old aunties and babes with dry, itchy skin. Our Eczema Diet members also test and provide feedback before new products are launched.
CLEAN
Our founder has super sensitive skin, so we avoid using ingredients that can irritate skin, including dyes, essential oils, fragrance, lanolin, propylene glycol, ethanol and olive oil (olive oil damages the skin barrier). Our products are also free of genetically modified (GMO) ingredients.

Skin Friend was born out of a desperate need to find supplements that were free of fillers, genetically modified ingredients (such as vegan collagen), salicylates, histamine, gluten and preservatives. Flavouring in supplements can also irritate sensitive skin so our supplements are pure powders, without added sugar or flavourings.
Our founder and CEO, Karen Fischer, is nutritionist, former TV host and mother of two. With over 20 years of experience as a certified nutritionist, and currently completing a PhD involving eczema research, Karen brings an unparalleled passion for skin health science to our brand. Her expertise in cosmetic chemistry also helps us to create effective skincare products for radiant, clear skin.
